Irregular Verbs Ending in “a” — “a” Changes to “i”

Lesson objective

In this lesson, you will begin studying irregular present-tense verbs that end in a long a. In this first category, the final a changes to a long i, and the normal present-tense prefixes and suffixes are added.

Example verb: “to run” (jra)
