Your Child Learns Quran, Arabic, and Moroccan Darija — Online, Private, and Taught by Native Experts
One platform. Three subjects. Private 1-on-1 lessons with certified native tutors who specialise in teaching children. Your child can learn to recite the Quran with proper tajweed, speak Arabic confidently, and connect with their Moroccan roots through Darija — all from the comfort of your home.
🧒 Ages 4 to 16 including toddlers
🧕Female tutors available for girls
Quran · Arabic · Darija in one place
🌍Flexible scheduling, worldwide
Maybe you want your child to recite the Quran correctly — not just memorise sounds, but understand the letters, apply tajweed rules, and read with confidence. Maybe you dream of them completing Juz Amma before they turn 10, or one day making khatm al-Quran. That takes the right teacher, the right method, and consistent private lessons — not YouTube videos and apps.
Or perhaps your family is Moroccan and you want your child to actually speak Darija — to connect with grandparents in Morocco, to feel at home in the language of their heritage. And you know that Modern Standard Arabic alone won’t give them that.
They need real Moroccan Arabic: the greetings, the phrases, the dialect that lives inside your family walls.
Maybe it’s both. Or all three. At Darija Academy, your child gets private lessons in whichever subjects matter most to your family — Quran recitation and tajweed, Arabic language, or Moroccan Darija — taught by native experts who know how to make children love learning.
“The best gift you can give a Muslim child is the Quran in their heart, Arabic on their tongue, and their heritage in their soul.”
What Your Child Can Learn
Three Subjects. One Trusted Platform. Taught by Native Experts.
Choose one subject or all three. Every programme is private, 1-on-1, and designed specifically for young learners.

Quran Recitation & Memorisation
Your child learns to read the Quran correctly — from the Arabic alphabet all the way to full surahs — with certified Quran teachers trained in tajweed. We start from wherever your child is, whether they’re a complete beginner or already reciting.
What your child learns:
- The Quran alphabet — Arabic letters and correct sounds
- Tajweed rules — ikhfa, idgham, izhar, madd, and noon sakinah rules
- Juz Amma surahs — starting with Al-Fatiha, An-Nas, Al-Falaq, Al-Ikhlas
- Quran memorisation with the dua for memorisation
- Confident, beautiful recitation
Who it’s for:
Toddlers (ages 4–6) starting with the alphabet · Children (7–12) learning Juz Amma and basic tajweed · Older children (12–16) working toward full Quran memorisation

Arabic Language — Read, Write & Speak
Your child learns real, functional Arabic — the ability to read, write, and understand the language of the Quran and daily life. Lessons are built around how children naturally absorb language: through stories, songs, games, and conversation.
What your child learns:
- Arabic letters — reading and recognition
- Arabic vocabulary for family, home, school, numbers, colours, and daily life
- Simple sentences, prepositions, and basic grammar
- Islamic phrases and duas — before eating, sleeping, and studying
- Arabic language games and activities that make every lesson fun
Who it’s for:
Beginners who want to start reading Arabic · Children preparing to read the Quran · Families raising bilingual children

Moroccan Darija — The Arabic of Morocco
Darija is the Moroccan Arabic dialect — the language Moroccan families actually speak at home. Your child learns the words, phrases, and expressions they’ll use with grandparents, cousins, and family in Morocco. This is not textbook Arabic. This is real Moroccan life, taught by native Moroccan speakers.
What your child learns:
- Moroccan greetings: salam, sbah lkhir, labas 3lik, mzyan
- Family words and terms of endearment in Darija
- Numbers 1–100 in Moroccan Arabic
- Everyday Moroccan phrases — greetings, thank you, how are you, goodbye
- Moroccan expressions your child will actually hear and use with family
Who it’s for:
Children with Moroccan heritage · Kids who want to speak with Moroccan grandparents · Bilingual families preserving Moroccan culture

Why Darija Academy
Most online Quran and Arabic platforms were built for adults, then adapted for children as an afterthought. The lessons are too long. The teachers speak too fast. The material is too rigid. And the child loses interest within weeks.
At Darija Academy, we built everything around the child from day one. Our tutors are trained to teach young learners — not just to recite and translate, but to engage, encourage, and adapt to each child’s pace. We also go one step further: we are one of the very few academies in Europe that teaches spoken Moroccan Arabic — Darija — alongside Quranic Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic, so your child can speak with their grandparents, connect with their roots, and feel proud of who they are.
Certified Native Tutors: Quran, Arabic & Darija
Every tutor at Darija Academy is a native speaker of Arabic or Moroccan Darija, with a certification in their subject area. Our Quran teachers are trained in tajweed and work specifically with children. Your child learns authentic pronunciation, correct recitation, and real spoken language — not a standardised app voice.
The Only Platform Combining Quran + Arabic + Darija
No other online platform offers Moroccan Darija for children alongside Quran and Arabic in one structured curriculum. Darija Academy was built specifically for the Moroccan diaspora — the community that speaks Darija at home and the Quran at the mosque. We understand your family because we are your family.
Female Teachers: Always Available
For many Muslim families, a female teacher is not optional — it’s essential. We have certified female tutors for all three subjects: Quran, Arabic, and Darija. Request a female tutor when booking and we will match your child before the first session.
Built for How Children Learn
Children don’t learn like adults. Our lessons use quranic stories for children, Islamic activities, Arabic language games, repetition, songs, and play-based methods — proven techniques that help young learners absorb language naturally and build a love for it.
Online, Flexible, Worldwide
Whether you’re in France, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, or Australia — we have tutors available across all time zones. All lessons happen live via video call. No commuting, no fixed schedules, no excuses.
You Always Know How Your Child Is Progressing
After every lesson, your child’s tutor sends a short update — what was covered, what to practice, and what comes next. No guessing. No wondering. You stay informed every step of the way.
What Parents Say
Real Families. Real Results.
“We tried two other platforms before Darija Academy and both times our sons lost interest after a few weeks. With Darija Academy it has been completely different. Their teacher is patient, encouraging, and always adapts to their level. After 4 months, our oldest can already read short surahs on his own. As a parent that means everything.”
🇳🇱 Fatima R. Mother of 2, Netherlands
Quran & Tajweed : Ages 7 and 10
“My son is memorising Juz Amma with his teacher and the progress has been remarkable. What makes the difference is the 1-on-1 format — his teacher focuses entirely on him during every lesson, corrects his tajweed immediately, and encourages him constantly. He actually looks forward to his sessions now which I never expected.”
🇨🇦 Youssef A. Father, Canada
Quran Memorisation : Age 11
“I was worried my daughter was too young to start but the teacher made it feel like playtime. She sings, tells little stories, and makes every lesson fun and gentle. My daughter asks every morning if today is her Arabic day. At 5 years old, she already recognises several Arabic letters. I am beyond happy with the results.”
🇪🇸 Leila K. Mother, Spain
Arabic for Beginners — Age 5
“My daughter was born here in Belgium and barely spoke any Darija at home. Every time we visited family in Morocco she felt left out. Since starting lessons at Darija Academy she has completely opened up. She now speaks with her grandparents on video calls and they cannot stop smiling. This is more than a language class — it is a gift to our whole family.”
🇧🇪 Karim B. Father, Belgium
Darija for Kids — Age 6
“Both my children are enrolled and doing the Full Heritage Programme. Within three months I could already see the difference — not just in their Arabic but in their confidence and their relationship with their deen. The female teacher they have is wonderful and my daughter especially feels very comfortable with her. Highly recommend to every Muslim family.”
🇬🇧 Samira O. Mother, United Kingdom
Full Heritage Programme : Ages 9 and 12
“My son is a teenager so I expected resistance. But his teacher connected with him straight away — speaks to him like a young adult, explains the meaning behind what he is reading, and makes it relevant to his life. He has not missed a single lesson in five months. As a father I cannot ask for more than that.”
🇸🇪 Omar S. Father, Sweden
Quran Reading — Age 13
“What I appreciate most is how professional everything is. The lessons start on time, the teacher always prepares properly, and after every session I receive a short update on what my daughter worked on. I always know exactly where she stands. Other platforms I tried were completely disorganised by comparison.”
🇫🇷 Nadia M. Mother, France
Arabic Reading & Writing — Age 8
“I searched for a long time for someone who could teach both Quran and Darija together. Most academies only offer one or the other. Darija Academy is the only one I found that combines both properly. Our son is thriving and his teacher has been absolutely fantastic from the very first lesson.”
🇩🇪 Hamid T. — Father, Germany
Darija + Quran Combo : Age 9
“My daughter just turned 4 and I honestly did not know if online lessons would even work at that age. The teacher was so gentle and creative — she used colours, songs, and games to introduce the Arabic letters. After 6 weeks my daughter can already recognise 8 letters and pronounce them correctly. I am genuinely impressed and we are continuing without hesitation.”
🇨🇭 Zineb H. Mother, Switzerland
Darija + Quran Combo : Age 9
Frequently Asked Questions
Parents Ask Us…
What age can my child start? Can toddlers join?
Yes — we accept children from age 4. For toddlers and young children (ages 4–6), sessions are structured around short attention spans — focused, play-based, and encouraging. We start with the Arabic alphabet, basic surahs like Al-Fatiha, and simple Moroccan greetings. Our tutors are trained specifically to make these sessions engaging for very young learners.
My child has never learned Arabic or Quran. Where do we start?
From the very beginning. Our beginner programme starts with the Arabic alphabet (alif ba ta), basic letter recognition, and the short surahs of Juz Amma. No prior knowledge is needed. We assess your child in the first session and build the plan from there.
What is the difference between Arabic and Moroccan Darija?
Arabic refers to Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) or Classical Arabic — the language of the Quran and formal writing. Darija is the Moroccan dialect — the everyday spoken language of Morocco, used at home, in markets, and in family life. They are related but sound and feel very different. Many Moroccan families want their children to learn both: Arabic to read the Quran, and Darija to speak with family in Morocco. Our Darija + Quran Combo plan is built exactly for this.
Can my child study Quran and Darija in the same plan?
Yes — this is what Plan 5 (Darija + Quran Combo) is built for. Your child has 2 Quran sessions and 2 Darija sessions per week, with separate specialist tutors for each subject. Lessons are on separate days so your child stays focused in each session.
How long before my child starts reciting surahs or speaking phrases?
Most children begin recognising Arabic letters and reciting short surahs within 3–5 lessons. For Darija, children typically start using basic greetings and phrases in their first week. Progress depends on age, frequency, and practice at home — but children learn languages significantly faster than adults.
Do you have female Quran teachers for girls?
Yes, always. We have certified female Quran, Arabic, and Darija tutors. Request a female tutor when you book and we guarantee the match before your child’s first lesson.
What does a Quran lesson actually look like?
A typical 50-minute session starts with a 5-minute warm-up and revision of the previous lesson. The tutor then introduces new letters, sounds, or tajweed rules, followed by recitation practice with gentle, patient correction. The lesson ends with a short Islamic story or activity. After the session, parents receive a written summary of what was covered and what to revise at home.
What platform do lessons happen on?
All lessons are live, 1-on-1 video sessions via Zoom or Google Meet. All you need is a device with a camera and a stable internet connection. No downloads or accounts required for parents — just a link.
What if my child doesn’t connect with their tutor?
We reassign immediately at no charge. Finding the right tutor for your child is part of our commitment to you. If the match isn’t right after the first session, tell us and we will pair your child with a new tutor before the next lesson.
Is there a registration fee or contract?
No registration fee. No long-term contract. You pay monthly and can cancel or change your plan anytime with 7 days’ notice. If your child’s first lesson doesn’t meet your expectations, we fully refund it.

Give Your Child the Three Things That Will Stay With Them Forever
The Quran in their heart. Arabic on their tongue. Their Moroccan heritage in their soul. These are not things children pick up automatically — they need the right teacher, the right method, and consistent time. Darija Academy makes all of that possible, from wherever you are in the world.
No registration fee. No long-term contract. Refund guaranteed if your first lesson doesn’t impress you.
