Lesson objective
In this lesson, you will begin studying irregular present-tense verbs that end in a long a. In this first category, the final a changes to a long i, and the normal present-tense prefixes and suffixes are added.
Example verb: “to run” (jra)

Examples
Hassan kay-ġnni f d-duš. — Hassan sings / is singing in the shower.
ma-kan-kmi-š l-нšiš. — I do not smoke hash.
weš kat-jri kul ṣbaн? — Do you run every morning?
