Hotel owner: wa 3alaykum s-salam.
Jack: weš kayn ši šambr?
Hotel owner: iyeh, kayn dyal fraš waнd kbir u kayn dyal juj frašat.
Jack: bġina dyal fraš waнd u fih l-нmmam.
Hotel owner: mrнba.
Jack: bšнal lila wнda?
Hotel owner: 140 drhm.
Amanda: weš l-ma sxun?
Hotel owner: iyeh a lalla.
Amanda: waxxa. 3ṭina šambr.

Jack: tfḍl a sidi.
Hotel owner: šukran. ha s-sarut dyal l-bit. 156 f ṭ-ṭbqa l-luwla.
English meaning: Jack and Amanda ask for an available room with one large bed and a bathroom, for 140 dirhams a night. They confirm hot water is available, fill out the registration papers, and receive the key to room 156 on the first floor.
