LESSON 156At the Post Office
Lesson objective
By the end of this section, you will be able to buy stamps, send letters, send parcels, use common post-office expressions, and use prepositions with verbs.
Sending letters and parcels
Stamps may be available at the post office or at tobacco shops. The textbook recommends mailing letters through the mail slot outside the post office, because collection from other mailboxes may not happen frequently.
When sending a parcel outside the country: complete a customs declaration form, leave the parcel open, allow an official to inspect the contents, and seal the parcel after inspection.
