LESSON 201Pronunciation of Moroccan Arabic
Lesson objective
In this section, you will learn how speech sounds are produced, the difference between fricatives and stops, the difference between voiced and voiceless sounds, how to pronounce difficult Moroccan Arabic consonants, and how to pronounce doubled consonants.
It is possible to learn to pronounce Moroccan Arabic sounds correctly. Correct pronunciation requires two things: understanding how each sound is made, and practising the sound with a native Moroccan speaker. This lesson explains how the sounds are physically produced.
