In this lesson, you will see how active participles describe an action that has already been completed, a person’s current position or condition, and an action happening now for certain verbs.

kan katb d-durus dyalu. — He had written his lessons.
kant bay3a ḍ-ḍar dyalha. — She had sold her house.
lqitu waqf f l-bab. — I found him standing at the door.
huwa labs qamija jdida. — He is wearing a new shirt today.
šftha labsa kbbuṭ xḍr. — I saw her wearing a green coat.
kul nhar kan-šufu maši f had z-znqa. — Every day, I see him walking on this street.
