These expressions are commonly used for requesting help, expressing thanks, showing sympathy, offering congratulations, and greeting someone after a journey.

| lla y-rнm l-walidin. | May God bless your parents. Often used when asking for a service or information, or expressing gratitude. |
| walidina u walidik. | Our parents and yours. A response to the above. |
| lla y-šafi. | May God cure you. Said to a sick person. |
| lhla y-wrrik bas. | May God not show you any harm. Can be used as the response. |
| ajarakum llah. | May God magnify the reward. Used when offering condolences after a death. |
| lla y-ṣlн. | May God make your child a good person. Said when complimenting a parent’s child. |
| tbark llah 3lik. | May God grant you grace. Used when saying goodbye to a friend, or congratulating good work. |
| lla y-bark fik. | Response to the above. |
| ullah. | I swear to God. Emphasizes that what the speaker said is true. |
